This the Sacre-Coeur of Monmarte in Paris. It's set higher than then rest of the city so you can see the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and Arch de Triumphe from up here.

You can't take photos inside the cathedral, but is was breathtaking. I can't imagine the years and artistry it took to create so many beautiful works of architecture without all the technology we have today.
